Fans of Adam Sandler’s hit comedy franchise are in for some huge news with Grown Ups 3 officially in the works. More than 10 years after the second movie hit cinemas, the gang is finally getting back together.
Rob Schneider Confirms The Sequel
Actor and comedian Rob Schneider confirmed the news during a recent podcast appearance, revealing filming is expected to kick off this summer. Schneider said he had already seen a script and was excited to reunite with the cast again. He also joked that everyone is “getting old” as the famous comedy crew prepares for another movie together.
The Original Cast Could Return
While Netflix has not officially confirmed the full cast yet, reports suggest the core stars are expected to return, including Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock and David Spade. The original Grown Ups movie was released back in 2010 and became a massive box office success despite mixed reviews. Its sequel followed in 2013.
Coming To Netflix
This time around, Grown Ups 3 will reportedly be released through Netflix as part of Sandler’s ongoing partnership with the streaming giant. A release date has not yet been announced.
