A local man has lost his licence after he was caught drink driving in Whyalla Norrie last week.
Police stopped the man’s Holden sedan for a breath test on Aikman Crescent at about 6am on Friday, 20 June.
It is alleged he produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.219.

Further checks on the man’s car also showed it to be unregistered.
The 34-year-old man was reported for drink driving and driving unregistered.
He was issued with a twelve-month instant loss of licence and his car was impounded.
He is expected to front court at a later date.
