The South Australian History Festival has launched for 2023, with a number of events open to the Eyre Peninsula public.
The Port Lincoln History Group are inviting locals to visit the Pioneer Cemetery this Sunday to hear more about some of the first settlers in the district in a guided tour from 1pm.
A number of events will be held in Whyalla, including exhibitions reflecting on local war history at the city’s RSL and the Whyalla Shipyard’s in the 1970’s at the Maritime Museum.

The festival is being held until the 31st of May.
