Chief Executive of Infrastructure SA Jeremy Conway says as the Northern Water Project progresses, so too does community engagement.

“We’re into the next phase of doing the feasibility studies leading to the final investment decision and we’ve got some fairly material capital committed to this phase of the project, and so as this project’s progressing, we think now is the right time to try and make sure we’re engaging fully with the community,” Conway says.

He adds that it’s the obligation of any material project to leave a community better off.

“Northern Water is going to be a great opportunity for the region, and so we just want to make sure that we maximise the opportunities for benefitting the local community where the project resides.”
