A man has been arrested after taking off when police attempted pull-over his motorised push-bike in Whyalla earlier this week.
Around 7pm on Wednesday the patrol tried to stop the rider on Bradford Street, as the bike had no lights.
A search of the man turned up methamphetamine and cash.
He was charged with failing to stop, driving unlicenced, possessing a prescription drug, trafficking a controlled drug, hindering police and unlawful possession.
He has been refused police bail and appeared before the Whyalla Magistrates Court yesterday.
