Electric vehicle drivers in Port Lincoln will soon have more places to charge up, with works starting on a Rapid EV Charging Site today.
The site will be built at the corner of Eyre Street and King Street, and will operate for a maximum of five years.
The RAA will bear the cost of installation, maintenance and any other ongoing costs as part of the statewide Electric Vehicle Network Program.
