EP’s future leaders tour Parliament House

Primary school students from Kimba and Port Neill were shown around Parliament House recently by Member for Flinders Sam Telfer.

Mr Telfer says it’s important for the kids to see where their local representative works to improve their futures and the region.

“It’s always exciting to host students from my electorate in Parliament House, and it’s always a bit of an effort and a journey for those students to get to Parliament House, so whenever I’m there, I do my bit to make sure that experience is a good one, Mr Telfer says.

“Recently I had kids from the Kimba Area School, the Port Neill Primary School, but also I’ve had students from a number of different schools and look forward in the coming months to hosting some more.”
