Port Lincoln was well represented at the 7 News Young Achiever Awards Gala Presentation on Friday, 17 May, where two locals claimed awards.
Local Councillor Dylan Cowley received the Scouts SA Leadership Award, and Painted Studios’ Presten Warren received the Carclew Creative Achievement Award.
Cowley was recognised for his leadership in civic governance, worship at Salvation Army, and homelessness support through West Coast Youth and Community Support.

He thanked his community, family and God when accepting the award.
Warren was recognised for challenging boundaries and honouring his cultural heritage through art.
He said it was an amazing night to spend with family and some of the most talented youth in South Australia.
