Driver training to expand in Whyalla with new funding

Driver training is set to expand in Whyalla following new funding from the state government.

Uniting Country SA will use the funding to grow its culturally safe and inclusive driver training program across the eastern Eyre Peninsula city, as well as Port Augusta and Port Pirie.

The funding forms part of the THINK! Road Safety Community Grants Program, which supports South Australian organisations to deliver road safety initiatives in local communities.

This year, 13 projects are sharing in a total of $200,000 through the program.
