Port Lincoln is increasing its use of recycled water, with a new $1 million project saving over 60 million litres of drinking water annually.

SA Water and the Port Lincoln Council are switching irrigation at key reserves to treated wastewater, with early plans to expand the network to local schools.

The project also reduces reliance on groundwater and supports the sustainability of parks, ovals, and the region’s natural resources.
