Port Lincoln Council adopts new Disability Access and Inclusion Plan

The City of Port Lincoln has formally adopted a new Disability Access and Inclusion Plan, setting the direction for the council’s approach over the next four years.

The plan outlines how council will work to remove barriers across the community, while improving access and supporting meaningful participation for people living with disability.

A strong focus is placed on lived experience, with the plan emphasising inclusion, attitude change and community‑led solutions to better meet local needs.

It targets a range of priority areas, including education, wellbeing, community support, employment, safety and ensuring people with disability feel valued and included.

The Disability Access and Inclusion Plan will guide council through to 2030 and is available to view in full on the Port Lincoln Council website.
