If you thought pickles were just a quiet little burger garnish that you either love or throw at the window to watch it stick, think again. KFC has officially entered its picklecore era, launching a brand-new, entirely pickle-themed menu across Australia today. Available for four weeks only until September 30, this limited-time lineup is built specifically for anyone who considers brine a lifestyle rather than a condiment.

The star of the show is easily the Pickle Pepsi, a beverage that takes inspiration straight from viral social media trends. It pairs Pepsi Max over ice with real pickle brine and fresh pickles, letting you control the exact DIY brine ratio to find your ideal balance of sweet cola and sharp tang.

Beyond the drink, the menu leans heavily into crunch and comfort. The Pickle Burger pairs KFC’s classic Original Recipe fillet with dill pickle seasoning, bread and butter pickles, pickle chips, and a creamy pickle ranch sauce. If you prefer your sides loaded, the menu also introduces Pickle Loaded Chips topped with popcorn chicken and pickle ranch, alongside standalone crispy fried pickles known as Frickles.

KFC SOPAC Chief Marketing Officer Vanessa Rowed noted that fan cravings for pickles have reached an all-time high, prompting the brand to deliver a full month of dedicated pickle items. Whether you grab a single item, order through the app, or commit to a full Picklecore meal bundle, you only have until the end of the month to taste-test the trend before it disappears.
