The Horsemen are up to their old tricks!
Now You See Me is back for a third instalment, 9 nine years after the previous films release, and it’s finally got the title that the second was supposed to be called. The Horsemen are reuniting to take down a criminal empire, that’s right, stage magicians are superheroes now.
The cast from the original film all return Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman, and even Isla Fisher who was absent from the second instalment. Check out the trailer below!
The franchise seems to almost be going down the route of similar franchises like The Fast & The Furious, where with each film the stakes get higher and things get slightly more unrealistic and ridiculous. But who cares? It’s a film, turn your brain off and enjoy it. The original was heralded for its use of camera work and special effects and this franchise should continue to have fun with that and just be a series that is, ultimately, just fun. Which this trailer definitely presents.
There’s a lot this trailer answers, our returning heroes, our new villains and what they’re out to do. Rosamund Pike even joins as the lead antagonist. But the last question left unanswered? How is it Woody Harrelson doesn’t seem to age.
