Hangar 13 has unveiled the “Loyalty is Everything” story trailer for Mafia: The Old Country at Summer Game Fest, giving us all an exciting first look at the next chapter in the acclaimed Mafia series.
This new trailer highlights Enzo Favara, the game’s protagonist, as he navigates the dangerous feud between the Torrisi and Spadaro crime families while carrying out the Don’s orders. Set in 1900s Sicily, players will explore the dark and gritty criminal underworld as Enzo fights to secure his place in this brutal world.
Mafia: The Old Country is a linear, story-driven crime drama set against the stunning and atmospheric backdrop of turn-of-the-century Sicily.
Staying true to the roots of the franchise, this looks to be an immersive game that delivers a focused narrative filled with grit, emotion, and brutality. Fans of crime games will appreciate its grounded storytelling and authentic mafia themes. Everything I want in a game, so I have high hopes, but equally high expectations.
Mafia: The Old Country launches on August 8 for PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
