Fans were shocked after spotting Kate Cassidy removing tattoos she’d dedicated to late boyfriend Liam Payne, with many assuming she was trying to erase his memory.
But Kate has now revealed that’s not the case at all.

Here’s What Really Happened
Taking to TikTok, Kate explained the tattoos, including the couple’s meaningful “444” angel number and angel wings, simply weren’t what she’d originally asked for.
She said they were her first-ever tattoos and, instead of the delicate fine-line look she wanted, they ended up much thicker than expected. Rather than live with a design she wasn’t happy with, she’s having them lasered off before getting them redone.
Liam’s Tribute Isn’t Going Anywhere
Kate reassured fans the meaning behind the tattoos hasn’t changed, saying they’ll be back once they’re redesigned by a specialist.
The update comes as Kate continues to openly share her grief following Liam’s passing in 2024. While fans feared the worst, it turns out the tattoos aren’t disappearing at all… they’re simply getting a second chance.
