We’re getting another Hunger Games prequel!
Much like the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, we’re getting a new addition to the Hunger Games universe set before Katniss Everdeen had to come in and ruin a good innocent thing! Come on girl, they were just having fun playing games, nobody got hurt… Much.
But the newest film, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, will tell the story of Woody Harrelson, er, I mean Haymitch Abernathy. Haymitch as you may know was mentor to Katniss in the original Hunger Games franchise as a previous winner of the games, a story that will be explored in this film.
Set 24-years before Katniss takes part in her first Hunger Games, Haymitch Abernathy will be reaped and take part in the 50th annual Hunger Games. But the film will feature many younger versions of characters from the original films and the cast is stacked! You can check them out below!
