Nine- Nine 🙁
Andy Samberg has finally commented on the potential return of his hit comedy show Brooklyn Nine-Nine. The show ended its 8-season run back in 2021 and people still have not moved on. It’s fun, light hearted take on the cop procedural sky rocketed in popularity. During a conversation at San Diego Comic-Con Samberg was asked about the shows return and he responded with:
I think the Andre [Braugher] factor makes it really difficult, certainly for me. I feel like he was such a huge part of what it was, like the base DNA of why the show works. Never say never. It’s a wonderful group of people. I don’t know. I love seeing them when I see them in real life, so I would love to work with everyone again in some capacity.
As devastating as the news is that the show is not set to return, Samberg commented on the legacy of working on a show with such legendary status that can stand the test of time. But it does sound like the cards aren’t off the table and discussions for a revival could continue to grow.
