Portugal. The Man accuse Jonas Brothers of copying

Releasing a song surely is super exciting but what happens if you are accused of copying an already released song? Yep and that is the case for the Jonas Brothers.

Portugal. The Man have accused the Jonas Brothers of copying 'Feel it Still'.

‘Feel It Still’ has over 90million streams and has done extremely well around the world when it when was released back in 2017 – Oh and winning a Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

While the band admit the song’s debt to The Marvellettes ‘Please Mister Postman’, they also took to Twitter to address the similarity with Jonas Brothers’ new song.

“To be fair, the chorus of Feel It Still sounds very similar to ‘Please Mister Postman’ by the Marvellettes… which we respectfully cleared and thanked them for every chance we got. As one does,” wrote the band.

Portugal. The Man have denied that they are angry towards the Jonas Brothers, by jumping on Twitter posting: “Not mad at all. Actually, dig a lot of their music and Nick’s solo records.”

Jonas Brothers have not yet released a statement on this current claim.
