The CFS are hosting a series of four community fire safe meetings in Coffin Bay over the coming weeks.
The program delivered in four parts aims to assist residents living in high bushfire threat areas and educate people on fire behaviour and bushfire preparedness.
The meetings will also help form community action groups that develop survival plans and community strategies to reduce the bushfire threat.
The first of four meetings is set to begin as of today with two sessions available 1-3pm or 7-9pm at the Coffin Bay Yatch Club.
The following meetings will be held on the 13th August, 27th August and the 10th September
