Whyalla Drink Driver

A P-plater was caught drink driving at Whyalla over the weekend.

About 3.40am on Sunday 18 October, police stopped a vehicle for a mobile driver test on Jenkins Avenue, Whyalla Jenkins.

The driver, a 36-year-old Whyalla Norrie woman, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.140.  

Further police checks revealed she was the holder of a provisional licence, requiring her to have zero blood alcohol.

She was issued with a six month instant loss of licence, her car was impounded for 28 days and she was reported for drink driving and breaching the conditions of her 'P' licence.
