Major Crash Officers are investigating a fatal crash at Rudall on the Eyre Peninsula that occurred yesterday morning.
Just before 9.30am on Tuesday 7 July, police and emergency services responded to reports of a crash between a utility and a van on Birdseye Highway at Rudall, west of Cleve.
Sadly the driver of the van, a 60-year-old Smoky Bay man, died at the scene. A passenger in the van and the driver of the utility were taken to Cleve Hospital with minor injuries.
The Birdseye Highway was closed for several hours while Major Crash investigators examined the scene.
This man's death is the 51st life lost on SA roads compared to 63 this time last year.
