While many events have been cancelled this year, there is hope for the 2021 Tunarama Festival that is set to go ahead.
Locals can expect next years’ festival to look a little different with COVID -19 restrictions however the majority of activities Tunarama is known for should still take place.
President Sharon Humenick believes that the town needs this event to happen given the uncertain times we are currently experiencing.
Sharon said They are delighted to announce that the Committee unanimously decided to proceed with the Festival in 2021.
She says Given many of us are doing it tough due to the impact of the virus, it’s important to come out the other side with a celebration of the resilience of our community’.
