Sunday saw the 2020 Tunarama entrants wrap up their quest with the charity check presentation.
The Tunarama quest saw 6 entrants raise money for their chosen charities over the year with a total of more than $73, 249 raised in total.
Tunarama entrant Miss Team Cara, Winnie Mrjen raising money for Cara, was titled the highest fundraiser, bringing in $24,675.
With the help of her peers at Cara and her Cara Day Options team leader Joy Milton, Winnie held around 6 fundraising events including 2 dinners that were a major hit with sell-out nights.
Tunarama President Sharon Humenick said having Winnie involved this year was wonderful, she lit up the room and made everyone bond really well.
“They’ve just been an amazing bunch of girls to work with this year and they’ve all be so focused on their fundraising so credit to themselves and our community”
Further check presentations saw Tunarama Ambassador Miss Mitre 10 Belinda Currie donate to the Royal Flying doctor Service.
Miss Eyre Travel, Vanita Ellis donated a check to the Port Lincoln RSL.
Miss Clean Seas Seafood, Zoe Pratt to Lincoln Alive.
Miss Kallinyalla Garden Centre Chloe Dreckow, donate to the Australian Red Cross.
While representatives from Variety SA received a check on behalf of Lauren Hazell who had to withdraw from the quest late last year.
