An Eyre Peninsula farmer has won first place in the National AgDay Photo Competition.

The Third AgDay Photo Competition, run by the national farmer’s foundation, attracted some of the best visual representation of what it means to be a farmer in Australia, honouring the theme #WeAreAusFarmers.

Cungena based farmer and hobby photographer Pam Lee entered a photograph titled ‘Reaping on Sunset’ which was selected from over 200 entries and saw her take home $1000 in prize money.

Mrs. Lee, with no formal training in photography, said she snapped the shot in the middle of their Harvest program just after getting off the chaser bin for the day, with the photo featuring her son and his mate behind the wheel close to sundown.
