Tickets are set to go on sale later this month, for the upcoming Marsh Cup AFL Pre-Season match in Whyalla, between Port Adelaide and the Western Bulldogs.
The match will be the first time Port Adelaide have played an AFL game in Whyalla, and comes following steelworks owner GFG Alliance’s partnership with the Port Adelaide Football Club.
Speaking about the announcement, Executive Chairman of GFG Alliance, Sanjeev Gupta said it will “assist in making Whyalla a Destination off Choice, both occupationally and recreationally”
With Whyalla City Council Mayor Clare McLaughlin noting “it is a huge win for Whyalla”
Tickets for the match, held at Whyalla’s newly redeveloped Bennett Oval on Saturday March 4th, will be on sale via the AFL’s website here on January 30th for members and the 31st for the general Public.
