There are fresh calls to ensure men across the Eyre Peninsula are supported and able to speak up if they're struggling with their mental health.
It comes as new research reveals 1 in 3 Aussie men fear their job could be at risk if they discuss mental health at work.
It also found around half (49%) would be worried their colleagues might make negative comments behind their back.
However, Brendan Maher from the Movember Foundation says it's vitally important local men are able to speak up and get support when they need it.
“For local men, the message is we know it can be difficult to have these conversations, we know it can be difficult to put your hand up but it’s critical that people reach out to someone and seek appropriate help when they’re facing a tough time.” Said Maher.
