A new resource is being launched to help Eyre Peninsula businesses be more inclusive and support a multi-faith workforce.

It comes as figures show Australia is more religiously diverse than ever before, while the number of people who consider themselves to be non-religious is also increasing.

CEO of the Diversity Council, Lisa Annese says the guide provides practical advice for local organisations to foster genuine inclusion in their workplace.

“Organisations should try and understand both the religious and non-religious make up of their work force so that they can understand the cultural and religious obligation that staff might have and the idea is to try and create a workplace where people can feel included, even when you sometimes feel you have to balance competing rights in the work place.” Said Lisa.
