This week is National Science week and in spirit of it, the Port Lincoln Library will be hosting a Si Fi Pi event this morning for locals to join.
The interactive inter-generational session will teach people to transform fruit and vegetables into musical instruments and demonstrate the art of science.
Louise Mrdjen from the Port Lincoln Library is inviting anyone and everyone to come along to the morning session from 10.30am that will also include a morning tea.
“It’s an age-friendly event, so from the very young to the very old and anyone in between, it’s an opportunity to just come along and have a bit of science fun no prior knowledge required just if you like to have a bit of fun together this is a great option.” said Louise.
Louise says “this could be the start of something fabulous because coding is the thing for kids at school, but many of us who have left school have missed that boat so it’s a good opportunity for people to come down to the library and try it out for fun.”
Science loving locals can also head to the library and read some of their range of science experiment books.
