Tumby Bay Cruise Ship Season Day Tours

District council of Tumby Bay

Tumby Bay are looking at ways to expand their tourism by utilising the cruise ship season with potential day tours from Port Lincoln to Tumby.

The coming cruise ship season is expected to bring in approximately 33,000 visitors to the region and Tumby is keen to take the opportunity to create more exposure.

The idea was proposed by Des Fauser from Port Lincoln Tours and Transport who met with the Tumby Bay community development officer to discuss potential bus tours to the district.

The cruise ship season is set to begin at the end in October and will run until March 2020.

Des, leading the initiative will be in touch with local businesses in Tumby Bay to capture shots for tour promotions and create customer appeal for the tours.
