The Australian Salmon fishing championships are well underway in Elliston now in week three with up to 61 anglers taking part in week 2.
So far a third of fish caught have been at locks, some from Sheringa and Talia with none so far at Camel beach for week 2.
Last week Hayden Roester caught the heaviest fish at Talia, coming in at almost 5kgs (4.956) which saw him take home the $300 cash prize.
The mystery weight winner was won by Allan Stagg whose fish weighed 2.10kg and caught at Sheringa beach, Allan scored himself $200 cash prize.
Fisherman from across the region are encouraged to take part in the annual fishing championships with tickets available at Tackle world Port Lincoln and local businesses in Elliston.
