Eyre Peninsula residents under the age of fifty are urged to be vigilant with bowel cancer as two new studies reveal a significant increase in cases. 

Around 1 in 10 bowel cancers are now diagnosed in people under the age of fifty, with it also being the deadliest cancer in Australians aged 25 to 29.

Bowel Cancer Australia CEO, Julien Wiggins, says locals shouldn't assume the disease only affects older Aussies.
