The annual Fresh Fish Place Port Lincoln Long Lunch is fast approaching with only days away until local venues will be graced with unique menus showcasing a variety of local food and wine.
The premier social event has proven to be one of the key dates on the Port Lincoln calendar, taking place this Sunday 26th of May.
Venues participating on the day include Del Gornios Café restaurant, Rogue and Rascal, The Port Lincoln Hotel, The Grand Tasman Hotel, Boston Bay Wines, Beer Garden Brewing and the Port Lincoln Yacht Club.
The day will run from 12 pm until 5 pm with Variety SA, the Runaway Brides taking the event by storm as the chosen charity.
The brides will be out and about at every venue with their tins and raffles for people to make donations.
The loop bus will be available for attendees to jump on and off as they please and half of the tickets proceeds going to Variety SA.
Kris Bunder from Del Giornos Café says the day is a good opportunity for the local venues involved to work together and put on a great day for not only locals but people from all over the EP.
“It’s become a big event on the Eyre Peninsula, particularly in Port Lincoln and we certainly get people from across the EP, so there’s quite a lot of people from Cleve area, Cummins, Tumby Bay, Coffin Bay and we get a lot of people that are already people in town and they seeing it advertised so they stay for an extra day.” said Bunder.
More information on the day including menus and bus route can be found at the long lunch website.
