Due to weather conditions over the weekend, the Port Lincoln RSPCA Million Paws walk was postponed and has been rescheduled for this coming Sunday the 26th May.
The Million Paws Walk is Australia’s biggest Dog Day Out showing their support for animals and to fight animal cruelty but also a fun way to celebrate our furry friends.
The day is also raising money to help care for the approximate 250,000 animals who end up at the RSPCA each year.
This Sunday will see local dog owners gather together for a fun-filled day of games for people and pooches, raffles, doggy show bags, coffee and cake, BBQ and a morning walk along the foreshore.
Special competitions will also be held including Best Dressed Pooch, Clever Canine (trick) and Snap (Owner/ dog look-alike).
Julia Churchett, Port Lincoln RSPCA Manager says they are expecting around 100 dogs and their families participating in the walk on Sunday.
Locals can register for the RSPCA Million Paws Walk at the event's website.
