Entries for the annual Film and Music Entertainment (FAME) awards are now open for Eyre Peninsula residents to enter.
The Port Lincoln City Band encourage locals within the film and music industry to come forth and enter their short films or original music videos.
All work entered including footage, scripts and music must be original to the entrant, entries must be a maximum five minutes in length and the rating no higher than M for mature audiences.
Categories include the City of Port Lincoln's best original short film, the Port Lincoln City Band's original music video and Magic 899's best original for the under 15 age group.
Port Lincoln City Band President Valerie Staunton says the awards night will be held on the 26th July.
"This year’s theme is Jazz and Pizzazz, so we’re gonna set it all up 1920’s Great Gatsby theme in the Nautilus Arts Centre and you’ll get to walk the red carpet, have a paparazzi there just experience the whole awards night logy type evening and you’ll get your free champagne and cabaret style.” Said Valerie.
