To Sport and in cricket the Eyre Peninsula senior cricket team completed its 2019 Country Carnival campaign with a win yesterday over.

EP took on Alice Springs who won the toss and batted at Park 25.

The Eyre Peninsula bowlers dominated the innings, bowling out Alice Springs for just 111 with Jackson Murphy taking 4 wickets. In reply EP once again found early trouble to be 3 for 19.

Degner combined with Joe Walker to put on a 50 run partnership and seal victory by 5 wickets.

In Port Lincoln cricket tomorrows match A grade of the round will be the top of the table clash between Southern Eyre South and Charlton at Centenary Oval. In other matches, Tod River take on Tasmans at Dorward Oval and Lincoln South host Waybacks at Poole Oval.

In Port Lincoln and Districts softball, tomorrow will see their final minor round of matches played for 2019 with Squaws taking on Eagles and Road Runners going up against North Shields Tigers.

In Lower Eyre Peninsula Baseball tonight will see traditional rivals Saints and North Shields do battle at Ravendale. On Sunday Coyotes will take on Indians.
