Yet another cruise ship is set to arrive on the shores of Port Lincoln this Sunday January 6th.
This will be the first of two visits this summer from the Golden Princess cruise ship and will see up to 3700 visitors visit Port Lincoln on its arrival.
The 109,000 gross ton ship carries a maximum of 2600 passengers and 1100 crew, being the largest cruise ship to visit the town.
The Nautilus Art Centre will be hosting the ongoing event ‘Artists in Residence’ during the Golden Princesses visit for tourists to explore local Eyre Peninsula talent.
The event will give visitors the opportunity to have an up close and personal look at the artists at work and browse their original homemade designs that will also be up for purchase.
With the cruise ship in town, there will be parking restriction in place at the town jetty car park and the council encourage drivers to take extra care while driving in the CBD.
Princess Cruises will see The Golden Princess return to Port Lincoln on January 27th.
