A motorcyclist recorded a blood alcohol reading more than three times the legal limit at Port Lincoln on New Year's Eve.
About 6pm on Monday 31 December, police stopped a motorcycle for a mobile driver test in Baltimore Street, Port Lincoln.
The rider, a 20-year-old Port Lincoln man, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.186.
Police checks revealed the rider had never held a licence, was currently disqualified from driving and the motorcycle was unregistered and uninsured.
The rider was reported for these offences and issued with a further 12 month immediate loss of licence.
The motorbike was impounded for 28 days.
He will be summonsed to appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court at a later date.
