New Skills Funding Good News For Regional South Australia

Regional residents will be amongst those to benefit from more skills funding from the state and federal governments.

South Australia has received another skills funding boost with confirmation that the Federal Government has increased the Skilling Australians funding to South Australia by $16 million.

The funding commitment is on top of the $87 million already allocated to South Australia under the Skilling Australians program and $100 million of South Australian funding.

Minister for Industry and Skills David Pisoni said that the state government is committed to creating an additional 20,000 apprenticeships and traineeships across the state with many of these to be based in regional areas.
