Federal Member for Grey Rowan Ramsey has welcomed the Federal Government’s plan to address more mobile service blackspots across the region.
The Federal Government recently announced it is committing $25 million for a fourth round of the Mobile Black Spot Program.
The Government has established the Regional Independent Review Committee (RIRC) to map the deficient spots and recommend investments for future improvement of telecommunications.
Mr Ramsey said that he encourages local residents, businesses and community organisations to engage with their state and local governments through the consultation process.
Submissions to the inquiry can be made to online via the RTIRC website.
