Port Lincoln Police have arrested a man following an attempt break-in at business premises in the early hours of yesterday morning.
At just after 1am on Wednesday, Police responded to an alarm activation at a premises on Ravendale Road, Port Lincoln.
On arrival police noticed the rear door handle had been broken.
Police searched the area and located the suspect hiding in bushes nearby.
An 18-year-old man from Elizabeth was arrested for attempt serious criminal trespass and breach of bail.
He was refused bail and had his first appearance in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court regarding the incident yesterday.
In further Police news a Port Lincoln woman will face court for drink driving after she registered a blood alcohol reading more than double the legal limit last weekend.
At just before 3am on Sunday, a Port Lincoln patrol stopped a Toyota SUV on Tasman Terrace for a random breath test.
The driver, a 35-year-old woman was reported for drink driving after she returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.117.
The woman was also issued a six month loss of licence and she will be summoned to appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court at a later date.
