Maintaining Connections Focus of New Regional SA Project

Older Whyalla residents are being asked to talk about their experiences maintaining social connections and responding to recent events as part of a new project.

The Plug In, supported by the Office for Ageing Well and Wellbeing SA, is exploring what makes a difference to the community's sense of connectedness and wellbeing, in nine locations across the state.

The organisation wants to hear from locals on what makes it easier or harder to stay social as people get older and if they have been affected by major social, economic and environmental events.

Residents can register their interest to participate in a focus group or a phone interview via The Plug In website.
