Visitor Information Centre SA Conference Held in Lincoln

Members of SA visitor information centres have come together for a state conference in Port Lincoln this week.

The annual event has featured several guest speakers covering topics on delivering exceptional customer service, understanding the new traveller in the age of COVID and destination marketing, with the City of Port Lincoln investing $10,000 to bring the event to the city.

Manager of Economic and Tourism Growth with the council, Naomi Blacker, said in a statement the conference provides learnings and practical advice to improve destination marketing and visitor servicing experiences for the city's visitors.

Mayor Brad Flaherty said the conference represents a wonderful opportunity for the city to showcase local businesses and operators, who do us proud in providing quality visitor experiences.
