Lincoln Drink Driver Loses Licence for a Year

A Port Lincoln woman has lost her licence for a year after she was caught drink driving in the city.


Police allege at midday yesterday, they received several reports from the public in relation to a silver Holden sedan being driven erratically on Mortlock Terrace and surrounding streets.

Patrols located the woman travelling on Verran Terrace, stopped the car and breath tested the 39-year old driver, who returned a positive reading of 0.154.

The driver was reported for driving without due care, exceeding the prescribed concentration of alcohol and driving while disqualified.

The woman will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
