Both Lincoln and Coffin Bay National Park will soon receive over a million dollars worth of upgrades, with the first works underway at the popular Fisherman’s Point Campground.

The work is part of a 1.5 million dollar upgrade package to both parks through the State Government’s Parks 2025 initiative, aiming to conserve SA’s natural environment and improve nature-based tourism.

The upgrades will include increasing the capacity at the campground, installing new signage, replacing toilet blocks, improving vehicle access loop tracks and improving pedestrian beach access.

In a statement, Member for Flinders Peter Treloar said the national park upgrades will improve the visitor experience for those staying on the Eyre Peninsula.

Construction is expected to be completed at Fisherman’s Point by autumn this year.
