The first rocket launch at Whalers Way has been postponed yet again, after a fire broke out at the site yesterday.
Just after 4pm yesterday, Southern Launch and TiSpace attempted to launch the Hapith 1 rocket, but the rocket suffered an internal fault during ignition and caught alight, with on site CFS fire crews attending to the blaze.
Southern Launch says no person or the environment were put at risk and the fire was contained to the launch pad.
The trial launch window is open until September 23rd.
