Developed in consultation with Aboriginal elders, the $50,000 Respectful Relationships program will work with Year 10, 11 and 12 students, to specifically address concerns around family violence in Aboriginal communities.

The program will allow young women the opportunity to attend a training program, aimed at promoting young women’s leadership and promoting positive identity whilst young men will be able to learn about being active bystanders and challenge assumptions on gender roles.

The program will run from Term 3 into early 2022 and 65 secondary schools across the state will take part.
