Locals are being reminded today is the final day to give their feedback on the Port Lincoln City Councils Economic Stimulus Projects.
Council has been seeking community feedback since late January on redevelopment plans of the Library and Visitor Centre which incorporates a cinema and café, the foreshore redevelopment and fast-tracking stormwater infrastructure.
A community meeting was held over the weekend which saw 130 people attended and discuss the future plans for the city.
Mayor Brad Flaherty says the community consultation phase is just another step on the path when it comes to what will happen and the consultations will become more and more focused.
“There's a survey online and we invite you please have your say to put your point of view forward.
“I understand we had over 500 submissions already and it is working and I'm really pleased to see that people are interested.
“What we’ve got to do is that we've got to have a positive outlook about where we're going into the future and we have to remember that what we're doing is looking after the city for the generations to come.”
Community consultation closes at 5pm today.
