Police Investigate Port Lincoln Car Theft

Police are investigating a break-in at Port Lincoln where a car was stolen.

Sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning entry was gained to a home on Ellen Street while the occupants were asleep.

A number of items were stolen including a Samsung tablet, wallet, cards and car keys.

Thieves then stole the victim’s white Mitsubishi Triton with SA registration S729CDB. The car has a black tonneau cover and a bull bar at the front.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate the stolen vehicle and ask anyone who sees the vehicle to contact police assistance line on 131 444.

Locals are being reminded to stay vigilant with their home security and ensure their homes are locked and secure.
