This week the Adelaide Film Festival is coming to Port Lincoln with an array of diverse films.
The Festival which was postponed during COVID last year is set to hit the big screen at the Lincoln Cinema this Friday, January 22nd until Sunday, January 24th.
To kick it off the series of hand-picked films, Wild Things will lead the way from 6 pm Friday night, an environmental protest documentary.
To follow on Saturday two screenings including Shiva Bay at 4pm and Another Round at 8:30pm.
And on Sunday to wrap up the festival, Perfect Candidate will bring the festival to a conclusion at 2pm.
Anna Vanderhart from the Port Lincoln Film Society says the festival is a big deal for our cinema, our local film society and anyone that would like to come along.
“Before Wild Things on Friday evening there's a short film to show that is about 8 minutes and it's created by Ben O’teil who's an ex-student from St Joseph's school in Port Lincoln and that's a film that I thought we'd like to show on the big screen.
“There are also special four day passes if somebody is interested in indulging in four films on the weekend to get the festival feeling.” said Anna.
Tickets are available at the Lincoln Cinema Website with bookings essential.
