Port Lincoln Drink Driver Caught in First Hours of Lockdown

A woman has been caught drink driving during the first hours of day 1 lock day.

Port Lincoln Police stopped a car travelling along Luke Street at around 1.25am on and conducted a breath test.

The driver, a 46-year-old Port Lincoln woman, returned a positive reading of 0.122. Checks revealed her car was also unregistered.

She was reported for drink driving and lost her licence on the spot for six months. Her car was impounded for 28 days and she will be summonsed to Court at a later date.
